which AG doll was your first? and who got it for you?

My first doll is named Mary, because she is supposed to look like me when I was a girl. She has reddish brown hair and brown eyes. I received her years ago when my daughter convinced my husband that I needed a doll of my own. He thought the doll would bring comfort and healing. He was right. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img] !!!!!

Of course now that I have become a collector I am wondering if he would have bought that first doll if he new what he was starting. [img]wink.gif[/img]
